About the Company:
Aeropeople have partnered with a privately- owned company specialising in helicopter support services. Established almost 50 years ago, they have 3 sites within the UK and Ireland and now have a vacancy for a B1.3 Helicopter Engineer to service new clients in Lancashire.
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this will be a remote role so will require someone who can work autonomously and manage their own time/ schedule.
Normal working hours are 8am- 5pm, Monday- Friday, however, you will need to be flexible as overtime will be required. There will also be some weekend duty required.
Scheduled maintenance in accordance with the requirements of the Approved Maintenance Schedule and Standard Inspection Worksheets
Rectification and Certification of defects as approved
Independent and vital point inspections to the extent authorised
Ramp and Line maintenance
Aircraft movement as tasked
Completion and Certification of aircraft documentation as authorised
Compilation/ Checking of weight and balance schedules
Participation in flight testing/ tracking and balancing
Checks involving the use of specialised equipment
Compass swinging as authorised
Company car provided for weekend duty
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
3 extra days complimentary holiday to be taken over Christmas
Private medical insurance
Relocation assistance if required
Skills and Qualifications:
B1.3 License is essential
AW 109 type rated but others including AW 169, AW 139 are desirable
