Aeropeople are currently recruiting a 145 Quality Technician on behalf of our client, a market leader in the design, manufacture and certification of aerospace equipment and systems, to join their successful team in Camberley, Surrey.

The company focuses on high end products utilised on board commercial, regional and business aircraft and supports its airline customers throughout the product’s life cycle.
Reporting to the General Manager- 145, the purpose of the role is to verify product quality and process capability. To ensure that all the MOE and EASA Regularity policies and procedures are adhered to, to ensure Air worthiness of the product.
To carryout assessment of incoming goods and verify conformity to drawings/specification.
To verify the conformity of product quality and that the products have been repaired in accordance with the correct maintenance documentation.
To perform Form 1 signatory application on release of repaired Components and Assemblies to Aerospace Customers
Carryout Analysis of products provided by Customers to determine route cause of failure in accordance with the relevant CMM documentation.
Support any training that is required within the department
Support any continuous improvement activities within the department.
Monitor and control non-conforming product (I.e. Scrap, Quarantine)
Undertake other reasonable duties, in line with business needs and objectives, which are consistent and commensurate with the overall purpose of the position.
Maintain prescribed KPI information as required
Salary up to £25,500 dependent on experience

Skills and Qualifications:
ONC or equivalent.
A sound engineering background and good metrology skills are essential
Experience of basic inspection, measuring and test equipment is essential.
Working knowledge and experience of CMM/FARO is desired.
Strong written and verbal skills
Computer literate with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Projects etc)
Knowledge of EASA/ CAA Regulatory requirements
Ability and flexibility to travel to other UK sites.
