Job Description:

As a Security Access Officer you are required to contribute to the general security and safety of all Employees, Infrastructure and Assets across the clients estate; you are responsible not only for maintaining the good name and reputation of The Client, but also for contributing to ensuring compliance with any applicable legislative or regulatory requirements through the delivery of security functions.

Your role will primarily be to support the other Security Officers and to provide assistance to the Security Management team when required. Your duties will include security patrols of the site, security checks of personnel and critical areas within the site; access control at main entry points that will include physical checks of ID’s and the searching of vehicles upon entry and egress to the site when required.

This role is a short Fixed Term Contract between 13/12/2021 to 18/02/2022 with a possible extension. We currently have 2 openings on a 4 by 4 rotation working a 13hr night shift.

Experience

You will have previous experience of working within a either a security role or a security-related role such as law-enforcement, the armed forces or another uniformed service. Prior knowledge of aviation security requirements would be desirable, but not essential.

Demonstrate a confident and authoritative manner and be able to take control of a situation; this may include conflict resolution when dealing with other members of staff or members of the public.

Be able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and be able to function effectively both as part of a team and by using their initiative to work unsupervised.
