Our customer is the UK’s leading independent aerospace company, specialising in aircraft maintenance, modifications and support services. Located at its airport HQ in Cambridge, plus with offices in Australia, Canada and Netherlands they are perfectly placed at the forefront of today’s Aerospace industry.
The primary purpose of this role is to actively support the BU Project Director / Project
Manager in successful delivery of the project by leading the implementation of the Project Controls System & provision of the resulting project controls information, necessary to successfully deliver the project to time, cost & quality. This will be done in compliance with MADG LCM & BMS processes, procedures and tools as governed by Programme Management & Controls Function.
Business Unit Programme / Project Director
Lead Planner, Project Planners/Controllers and Risk Specialists
IPT / Project Team
Integrated Business Planning Team
Programme Management & Controls Function (PM&C).
Liaison with PMOs across MADG to ensure that best practice is shared across the company.
Other business functions (eg Engineering, Finance, Commercial, Legal, Quality, Health & Safety, Operations)
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in leading/implementing & delivering project controls services within projects
Subject matter expertise in the application of Project Controls tools & techniques
Life Cycle Management experience including a the majority of the following; Design, Development, Manufacture, Assembly, Integration, Test & Support,
Aerospace / Engineering / Manufacturing Industry experience
Internal & External Customer & Stakeholder Management
Experience in a technical environment within a relevant industry (Aerospace / Defence a distinct advantage, also with MoD experience a benefit
Educated to Honours Degree or Higher Diploma (HND) level in a subject with clear relevance to Project Management & Controls.
Minimum Level D Professional accreditation with the APM (or equivalent level of professional accreditation).
