C130 Avionic Instructor

Our client is looking for an Aerospace Technical Avionic (B2) Instructor to join them, on a permanent basis, based in Cambridge.
You will be an experienced instructor from an Avionic background and have experience teaching C130 J & H, and or large civil aircraft.
This role will require you to compile Training Needs Analyses, Syllabi, student notes and presentations for a range of aircraft types and avionics systems for military, and commercial aircraft, but with particular reference to Lockheed C130.
Training will be delivered to apprentice trainees, and qualified engineering staff, if you hold no formal Instructor qualifications, a course can be provided at the employers expense to get you up to speed.
Main duties will include:
The compilation of Training Needs Analyses, Syllabi, student notes and presentations, that you will then deliver using appropriate teaching methods.
Design and the development of course notes in accordance with EASA Part 147 and or customer requirements.
Evaluate and mentor students throughout their journey through the course syllabus.
We are looking for applicants who have previous experience working within a Part147 organisation or college as a technical trainer / lecturer.
A thorough understanding of Avionic systems is required.
You will possess a strong commitment to quality & customer service, whilst maintaining at all time the importance of associated legislation.
You will be fully responsible for managing your own time effectively.
You’ll work equally well as part of a 5 man team, or singularly to meet and deliver customer needs and expectations.
You will be self-driven, enthusiastic, approachable, adaptable, and able to meet challenges positively.
