Aeropeople win ‘Business of the Year’ in 2012 MAVTA’s

In the recent ‘Marshall Achievement, Values and Teamwork Awards (MAVTA’s) Aeropeople were the proud recipients of the prestigious new award for 2012 ‘Business of the Year’. Following on from the presentation of all other nominations and awards, Robert Marshall announced the new award and asked Kevan Bishop, Managing Director of Aeropeople Ltd, to accept the award on behalf of all of the team.

The award was a new award and given this year to a business who truly deserved to be nominated Business of the Year measured against demonstration of living to Marshall’s Company Values.

Commenting on the award for ‘Business of the Year’ Kevan Bishop MD of Aeropeople, said; “What a great start to the New Year, I am absolutely delighted that the Aeropeople Team’s, commitment and effort in achieving such a high level of performance and Customer loyalty, in a very challenging market, has been recognised by this prestigious award.”

 

Aeropeople paint the city blue

In July this year, Aeropeople, were chosen by Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies  to supply a team of experienced Aircraft painters to to paint an Etihad A330-200 in the colours of Manchester City Football club. The new “Blue Moon Rising” livery was to mark Etihad’s sponsorship with the football club and to also unveil its twice daily flights to Manchester and Abu Dhabi. A team of 40 painters worked around the clock for 18 days to paint the A330-200 in this stunning design. 450 litres of paint were required to complete the task.

Neil Candeland, Aeropeople’s Operations and Finance Director commented ‘This project was a great example of how Aeropeople’s skilled and knowledgeable consultants were able to deliver the right resources ensuring the Aircraft livery was delivered to a tight schedule. The day after painting was completed the Aircraft flew Manchester City players and staff to the US for their summer tour; a deadline that could not be missed!’

Aeropeople win Managed Service Contract

Aeropeople have won their first Managed Service Contract on a retained basis with a major Middle Eastern MRO. This contract will include the provision of onsite recruiting expertise to exclusively deliver their staffing needs. Kevan Bishop MD Aeropeople Ltd commented that "this a step change in our ability to provide solutions to clients delivering the best staff resources on a lower cost basis and is a first in the region".

   

Kevan Bishop to Captain the Aircraft Golfing Society

Kevan Bishop, Managing Director of Aeropeople Ltd. was confirmed as the Captain of the Aircraft Golfing Society (AGS) at their AGM on 1st March 2011. The AGS was founded in 1944 to promote contact, communication and friendship between executives in the Aircraft industry, on the golf course. It also has charitable aims with monies raised going to nationally recognised charities. Kevan’s chosen charity for Captain’s year is Children’s Hospices UK.

Marshall Aerospace delivers essential Medevac Conversion kits

Marshall Aerospace has delivered and installed its first set of vital Medevac Role Change modification equipment to the Norwegian Armed Forces, and this is the first time internationally that certification has been issued for a role change modification of this kind to be operated by a commercial airline.
