Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

 
·         Provide consultancy and advice on all HR related matters to both UK and Global sites,
ensuring adherence to all legal and best practice obligations including employment law,
employee relations, disciplinary and grievances, performance management, learning and
development, succession planning/ talent management/ career development, change
management/restructuring and absence management;
·         Interface with international payroll providers ensuring that tax and employment matter
are handled appropriately.
·         Provide coaching, support and expertise in the management of all HR matters,
effectively “partnering” the business;
·         Act as a change agent in driving organisational (particularly cultural) change;
·         Work in partnership with key leaders within the business to driver people related change
whilst building effective working relationships at all levels of the business;
·         Demonstrate expertise in technical HR areas and develop and deliver innovative
solutions;
·         Preparing for Employment Tribunals including writing witness statements, ET3, etc and
working closely with lawyers on case management. 
 
·         Actively lead and contribute to key HR projects;
·         Support and maintain the implementation of current and new HR policies and
procedures;
·         Conduct TNA for all customer areas on an annual basis;
·         Review annual Employee Opinion survey results with customer management teams on
an annual basis and proactively work with teams to develop appropriate action plans;
·         Maintain accurate records and statistical information, being proactive in the analysis of
data to support customer areas;
·         Update organisational charts on a regular basis;
·         Maintain good employee relations and where necessary support investigatory/
disciplinary/ appeal hearings;
·         Assist with the preparation of tribunal applications and support proceedings when
required;
·         Support occupational health with management of long term absence;
·         Promote effective vertical and horizontal communications across the Company;
 
The post holder will undertake other duties as may be required to achieve the Company’s objectives, commensurate with the grading of the post.

Education

 
Ideally the successful candidate will be educated to degree level
